Egg-stra Special Delivery

For more than a quarter of a century, Evelyn Hamilton and her special helpers have brought to life the Easter Bunny for patients at Children's Medical Center. On Friday, she was at her good deeds again.

Evelyn and crew made more than 1,000 egg-stra special deliveries to patients who spent their holiday in the hospital.

Because some patients can't have jelly beans and chocolate bunnies, the Easter Bunny works closely with the child life department at Children's to determine what kinds of age- and developmentally-appropriate goodies to tuck inside baskets full of cellophane grass.

The big ears and fluffy tail work for Evelyn. But, everyone can't pull off that look! Even if you're not a costume character kind-of-guy, you can still deliver smiles to patients at Children's.
