Bow WOW!

A recent study suggests dogs may be able to sniff out certain types of human cancers. Right now, it looks like these K9s are most adept at identifying cancers in adults. But even if they’re not detecting childhood cancers, yet, dogs are still making an important contribution to pediatric patients.

Paws Across Texas is a non-profit group of therapy dogs who visit Children’s once a week with the sole purpose of brightening the lives of kiddos who are in the hospital. You can only imagine the squeals and smiles and wagging tales that ensue!

There are so many neat, unique opportunities to volunteer at Children's. Find a way that speaks to you.
