Children's One of 10 Best Pediatric Hospitals in America

I think I've mentioned it on here maybe once or twice before, but Children's Medical Center is a pretty amazing place. I am so proud to work here, and I am inspired every day by the miracles that takes place within the hospital's walls.

Those of you who have ever brought a child here probably have your own stories to share - the nurse who treated your child like her own, the surgeon whose graceful hands answered your prayers, the child life specialist who always showed up at the right time (and with the right toys!), the chaplain who stayed with your family when you needed it most, the volunteer who rocked your baby so you could finally get that shower you craved.

But today, it's not just you and me singing the praises of Children's Medical Center. Today, U.S.News & World Report released the results of its annual Best Children's Hospitals survey, and Children's is one of only 10 hospitals in America named to its Honor Roll, meaning Children's ranked in every specialty the magazine surveyed: cancer, diabetes and endocrine disorders, digestive disorders, heart and heart surgery, kidney disorders, neonatal care, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics respiratory disorders and urology.

We are so honored to be named one of the 10 best hospitals for kids in the country, and we thank you for continuing to entrust us with the care of your most precious little people.

You know, they say every great city needs a great children's hospital, and Dallas/Fort Worth, you get better than great. You get one of the best in your own backyard.
